Los Kalakos is a proudly Mexican distillery that has been producing tequila with character, passion and authenticity for years. Its history is rooted in tradition, but its vision looks to the future: to conquer markets such as the United States and Europe, where tequila is not just a drink, but a gateway to Mexican culture. The brand set out to transform its image without renouncing its roots, showing the world that tradition can also be modern.

Why did they look for us?

Joel García, founder of Los Kalakos, came to us with a clear objective: to redesign the brand to compete globally without losing the identity that made it unique. The challenge was to project confidence, authenticity and sophistication to an international audience, with a visual aesthetic that could position tequila as a cultural experience and not just another distillate on the shelf. The previous image did not communicate the quality and potential of the product, nor was it ready to support an international commercial strategy.

What do we do with them?

We carried out a complete redesign of the visual identity, taking care of every detail of the branding system to tell a coherent and attractive story:

  • Renewed logo, respecting the brand's roots with a subtly modern and symbolic touch.
  • Cleaner and more structured label and bottle design, designed to stand out both on the shelf and in photographs.
  • Color system and typography accessible, modern and adaptable to different media.
  • Merchandising design: cards, t-shirts, bags, signage and promotional materials.
  • Photographic style defined to communicate modernity, tradition and a global lifestyle.
  • Before and after comparison, showing the strategic leap in design and brand perception.

The visual relaunch of Los Kalakos positioned tequila as a premium proposal with a strong Mexican identity, but with a universal language.
